Wow! Florida State misses the final winning field goal WIDE LEFT!!! Ah, but I remember the three previous wide right misses by FSU. Now how the Miami fans crow and cheer ("Nobody can beat us!"). Oklahoma humbled Texas, Georgia beat Tennessee, and LSU stomped the mighty Gators in the Swamp. There were many more, but those were the biggies.

Next week, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take it to the Ole Miss Rebels, hopefully stomping them into submission. Until next week:

PSU lost over the weekend, but they've won about 4 games so far. It's nice to see them winning again. I mean, the last two seasons were the only time in Paterno's coaching history where the Lions lost 2 consecutive seasons! Perhaps it's something to do witrh sharing the same name as the Detriot Lions.
