I thought it would be a better video if the scenes of her nude except for the well placed "diamonds" were used more in the video. I thinking like all of it! By the way, anyone know where there are good screen captures of it?

Personally I take offense at that. Being an independent NZ based film maker myself, I will point out that music videos are often how kiwi directors break into film. Despite the hype of NZ film-making what with LOTR and all, being a film maker in NZ is a fuck-load of hard work because of the utter lack of support from the NZ Film Commission, and music videos are how we get out there and make our name.

That said, the quality of our music videos is way better than your average mass-produced label-backed artists music video.

and btw, I have seen some very well directed porn films.

Music videos can also trace their origin from the Avant Garde found footage school, by the way.

David Fincher's first film, Alien 3, was what set him up for the cinema crowd. Before that all he did was music vids. Ordinarily I'd say touché, but the special edition of that third film makes it exceptional now, so I guess they can have talent.

It's probably a ploy to make them desperate. They'll probably keep offering more and more money for a shoot until she thinks they're offering enough until she says yes.
