I called it, as a matter of fact. God damn it, I should have put $100 down on this game.

*wipes tear from eye* Thats the best super bowl I've seen in ages. I officially routed for NE but at the end, I was hoping for Carolina to make a play in their second to last possesion.

Sorry, babydoll. I figured this thread was going to be testosterone-laden, so I was trying to blend in. ...Apparently it didn't work. Oops. :D

I almost started cheering for the cats at the end of the game--poor Jakey is so cute and looked so excited when he thought they might win. Awww. Poor kid.

Oh, I agree. I was routing for the Pats the whole way, but come the last half and especialy the last quarter, I was hooting and hollering for the 'cats'.

Who'd a thought that it would have been decided in the last 9 seconds? Though it was over the possesion before.......

Not with the Patriots. Their kicker won the last one the same way.

Is there a separate thread for the halftime show? I spit soda across the room when Janet's boob came out.

Good game. It kinda made me sit at the edge of my seat.

I missed the boob, but I saw the pic in the other thread and it scared me...she looked too much like Micheal there. *Shudders*

Did you see the guys piling on top of Adam Vinatieri after the game ended, kissing him on the face and neck?!

They were just a little happy. :D

I did and don't blame them for being happy at all. The man just won them their second Superbowl after all.

I would be too...that game easily had some odd choices of what to do(Two 2 point conversions?) and heck Pats were probably going to rip Vinatieri balls off if he didn't make the field goal.

Honestly was glad the second half was much exciting then the first.

Last night's game was the first match of American football I've ever seen. Despite the fact that it deprived me of my sleep (Vinatieri made the winning goal around 5.30 AM local time), I think I'm in love with this game now. :D

He's a snake bastard, and his comments on Inside the NFL made it even more apparent.

Awww, you just wish he'd stuck around to coach the J-e-t-s for more than a day or so. :D

He took a million dollar signing bonus, and then left us after a day. Has any coach (besides maybe Parcells) done anything more evil then that?

Hmmmm, is something like that truly evil when it happens to the Jets? :D

Seriously, that is pretty fucked up so I can see why you consider him evil. I hope you are also pissed at the Jets' front office for making it possible for him to legally get away with that (I'm assuming it was legal).

It's only money. This recent thing with the Raiders and Bill Calahan seems to be worse. He may have been tanking things for most of the season. That has to be worse.

I also think worse things happen in college coaching all the time. The main one is where a coach violates the shit out of the rules without anyone noticing anything... for awhile. He makes a name for himself and moves on to a bigger name school. Soon after his old school is investigated for NCAA violations and gets boned. Losing scholarships and put on probabtion. It was only recently that the NCAA finally started sticking things to the coach that cause the problem even if he's at another school. Rick Neuheisal comes to mind. He still screwed Colorado but some of that shit followed him to Washington, before he got the boot.

I've heard some wispering that Jimmy Johnson left a wake of violations behind him in Arkansas and then Miami before he bailed to the NFL.

Baaaad call on that "incomplete pass" that was a completion and then a fumble. I'm sorry, when the ball moves down into a carrying position and it isn't moving around in your hands, YOU HAVE POSSESSION OF THE MOTHERFUCKING BALL.

Now the FCC is going to investigate it. I think that's a bit ridiculous...
