I alternate between periods of lazy idleness and frantic typing, making graphics and doing other organizational things to make sure MSNBC has shiny, pretty graphics.

This.
And occsionally send off a piece of coursework, make tea, fetch the post, go for lunch, play with ExCel and Access, go to other forums, chase up missing courseworks form students and markers, sign up students to courses, read Live Journal, book staff travel, order stationery, write orders for Dune, arrange TA's timesheets, read webcomics and then go home.
But mostly, this.
For what they pay me, they shouldn't expect more.

I spend the day seated in front of a computer, playing around with keypoints, lines, areas and meshes, building weird shit to see if they can resist applied forces, measuring stresses, writing reports and articles, and spend too much time reading stuff on a BBS called Sd.net.

go to seminars, think up cool buildings, draw blueprints, post on SD.NET, make 3D models of said blueprints, go out and buy food at lidl, make real models of said blueprints with cardboard, wood and other materials, eat, get distracted from work and decide to go for a couple of stealth kills in tenchu 3.

Normally it's:
Getting up.
Looking at the weather conditions, personal feeling and decide if it's worth going to university (in 60% of the cases it is not).
(going to university) IfTrue:
[Sitting with friends in the cafeteria, drink coffee, possibly, if I am in the mood, go into a lecture, otherwise keep talking with friends.]
ifFalse:
[go back to bed, sleep until noon, get finally up, access internet, go to living room, watch TV, decide to go shopping/drink coffee with friends/do nothing, go back to computer, surf the net.]
Two days of the week, I'm working in the office, doing IT helpdesk.
And in the lecture-free time, I get up late, sit down to read some scripts, and watch TV.

I'm a delivery driver from 8:00am to 5:00pm. When I'm not driving, I am either picking up packages or dropping them off. It's ok, but I do get to meet a lot of very nice women.

I drive a lot for my new job, so I'm mostly behind the wheel and I listen to music. And I discovered that message boards help pass the time in motel rooms.

13-14 hours a day M-F talking to book stores, ordering around minions, taking orders from customers, doing tech support, talking to writers, processing orders and shipments, editing books, typesetting, responding to a multitude of business e-mails and doing selective market advertising.
I'm also on SD.net and farting around on the net between conversations and projects quite a bit too

I'm a "Phone Jock"
![Evil or Very Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)
. People call me, bitch about their mortgages, find out 90% of their problem is that they're an idiot, but, being the tactful superrep I am, they feel good about it, and thank me for letting them know. Then I make them happy by quickly resolving their issue, keeping them loyal to the company and securing our position as the number 1 mortgage lender/servicer in the country.
but my loyalty is always for sale to the highest bidder. and rumor has it EverBank is expanding here in the 'Park.

Basically input numbers and call up clients getting correct numbers for taxes. Many people realize their dumb mistakes on what the IRS will ass rape them for and I correct them and get them a good refund if it's within the realm of possiblity.
Not much but it gets the day by and pays the bills very well.
The evening is usually rest until the weekend.

Apart from the "sammiches" that's pretty much my days. Though next week i go to college and learn stuff i already know and come out with a sexy qualification at the end.
If i'm motivated in any way, i may draw something, write something, be it attempting to write some of my fanfic or owning some fundies somewhere or play a game. I'm addicted to smacking down fundies.

I'd tell you, but I probably would have to kill you. (Is being entirely serious.) Though it involves expensive hardware, a lot of coding and system development, and stretches of downtime which I waste by posting here.
