40 years ago today the beatles landed in JFK, thus starting the british invasion, and thus directly leading to the career of David Bowie!

DON'T! For the love of all that is right with the world, we don't want to defile the Beatles and Bowie here. :D

*semi-dated british comedy alert*

Hi... John Lennon here, if I could have a one to one with anyone, it would be with Noel Gallagher.

I'd punch him in the face, and say, 'ay, stop stealing my songs, write your own, you over-grown mancurian yeti'

So do I, it was a sketch on Dead Ringers, an excellent BBC impressionist show, funny as hell - if you're interested, go to BBC Radio 4 website, listen again, and select the Best of Dead Ringers...

I once watched an interview with Joe Episoto, who was one of Elvis' bodyguards. He said that when the Beatles first arrived, they went to Elvis' home in Bel Air and visited him. During the course of their visit, Elvis got some guitars out and all five of them jammed. Esposito said it was AMAZING. Too bad that wasn't recorded. Can you imagine what that would be worth?

One of much taste, I actually went to his concert in New York, it was the best thing I'd heard, ever.
