I think most PEOPLE (men and women) like to be treated like shit. I think this way because the times i have been nice and devoted i have been shit on, the times I have been a bitch they kiss my ass on a permanent basis.
However when it comes to commitment...ladies want to commit and guys want to keep living la vida loca!

It depends on what they want from me. Bitchiness pisses me off after a bit, and i'm more easily manipulated when they're nice to me.

Bit of a generalisation, but an understandable one. I get bored after like a month at the most. I'd prefer just to be sociable with many hot women and have sex as an aside.

Sounds more like two distinct groups. The shitters, and te shitees. Better to be the former. Idealy, there would be no excrement involved.

I don't trust people easily in relationships. I don't get emotionally attached easily. Maybe it's just that I haven't met The One yet, but I'm just not all that receptive to getting "treated badly."

Anyway, I like to be given plenty of space and retain my independence. Someone who wants to treat his girlfriend like shit will look elsewhere, because I'd rather be in no relationship than a bad one.

In answer to the question about relationships, there might be the posability of a relationship in my future. I sure want one, but for the exact reason that i want one means i shoudn't have one.

I disagree that people want to be treated like shit. There's no like about it. It's just that some people are so needy that they allow themselves to be treated like dirt. There's also the question of what kind of men and/or women you date.

I'm working on one. She wants me .

Oh and I don't like being teated like shit. It pisses me off. I don't act like an ass to people I like, so why should they do it to me?

You can't generalize all people like that.
Everyone is unique in that regard.

My experience as a male has been the opposite so far. I want the commitment, the girls keep flitting around with other random boys. Often getting sex along with their flitting.

I just got out of a serious relationship a month ago so NO, I don't see one for me in the near future.

I got out of a relationship a few weeks back*Read, dumped*, but it wasn't serious(to her atleast). Still not sure what happened, I heard from a mutual friend that she fell for another guy, but apparently the same day she turned him down, so there is something missing still.

But unless anything comes through with this chick at my School MTV is doing a reality show on, I don't see myself being in a relationship any time soon.

And about the commitment thing, me and my friend are perfect examples about how thats not completely true. She just sleeps around with anything that moves(women too, and she tries to believe that she's a perfect fundamental christian girl) she's tried to be in a serious relationship, but cut it off cause she was too hot for several other men, and I want a relationship.

That's just so true... I know I, for one, enjoy being whipped, beaten, and poked with sharp sticks by my girlfriend.

Ah, to be young again.

I consider it a gross generalisation to say all women want tro settle down while men just wanna fuck arround. My problem is that in previous relationships it's been quite the opposite.

I try to be as nice and polite and reasonable with girls as I can, and in return I expect them to not be bitches to me. Now if only I could make that happen with someone who both wants me and is willing to be with me. . .

As to the question if whether or not a serious relationship is in my future: I don't know.

I'm trying for a few ladies, and it'll depend on my success with one of them for the immediate future.

I want a long term relationship, but girls dont like me
