I was checking my profile when I started to wonder something.

[0.97% of total / 8.61 posts per day]
Find all posts by Spanky The Dolphin

What does "[0.97% of total ..." mean, exactly? Is it how much my per-day average is of the total number of posts I've made?

I believe it the percentage of the total posts on the board although, I can be wrong.

Yes its the total number of ALL posts ever made on this board made by you
For example
4813 [5.32% of total / 46.73 posts per day]
I have contributed over 5% of the Total Posts ever made here
