I know that, Mike. I might be tempted if I met the right girl, but not on the first date. I definitely wouldn't just pick up some random girl in a bar or wherever. And there's not a snowball's chance in Hell that I'd bang some girl without knowing anything about her first. This likely puts me at odds with the majority of the board members, but I really don't care. I've got nothing more to add to this thread, so I'll just not post here anymore.

By the way, Rogue, you'd be surprised at how many of us would understand. Quite a few atheists here used to be Christians, and I used to have the exact attitude you do now.

Are you implying that an atheist must have no problem with the idea of picking up "some random girl in a bar" and having sex with her on the first date, or screwing some chick without knowing anything at all about her? What exactly do you think atheists are like?

PS. According to the most recent poll, the majority of the board's members are actually Christian too. And I seriously doubt that most of them would bang a stranger on the first date.

I didn't intend to imply that about most atheists. I was writing in the context of the original post, which did very strongly suggest that you would be taking home some random girl. I overreacted and I'm sorry.
