This isn't really her fault. This is the fault of screeching, overreacting morons and the media being the spineless whore.Joe wrote:Thank you very much, Janet Jackson. You stupid fucking whore.
Clear Channel sucks, but they're just trying to cover their ass. This is all about the fucking FCC.Gil Hamilton wrote:This isn't really her fault. Stations owned by Viacom, meaning the vast majority of the stations carrying him right now.kornstar08562 wrote:I m not all that familiar with radio but if clear channel isnt carrying him then what stations will he still be on
Mike Missanelli was an asshole on WIP AM. Glad to see moving to FM hasn't changed him.kornstar08562 wrote:ok good Id hate to make my commute tommorow listening to the philly guys on 93.3
I've thought the same thing many times over the years. Then, like this morning, I'll tune into his show and wind up laughing non-stop for fifteen minutes. Today's incident was Stern playing a recording of Beth and him singing "Close to You" very, very drunk.RedImperator wrote:And while I think Stern stopped being funny years ago...
Turn off CNN for starters.Darth Wong wrote:Clear Channel sucks sweaty donkey balls. All of the news lately about America has been fundies flexing their political muscles, and I'm fucking tired of it.
Yeah, that was good! The Mr. Skin "Anatomy Awards" was funny too.Phil Skayhan wrote:I've thought the same thing many times over the years. These cunts are based in Texas. They've had a hair up their ass ever since Stern said the poor in Mexico would be eating Selina's corpse instead of burying it.Besides, why is anyone surprised Clear Channel did this? After all, this is the same compan that banned the Dixie Chicks, no?
But all that violence shows you how to love and be at peace with fellow man.Darth Wong wrote:And the same groups responsible for this bullshit are currently praising "The Passion", which Roger Ebert has described as the most violent film he has ever seen, and telling everyone to run out and see it.
Is the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission religious based, or just an uptight Canadian version of the FCC? They kicked Stern and Tom Leykis out of Canada altogetherDarth Wong wrote:And the same groups responsible for this bullshit are currently praising "The Passion", which Roger Ebert has described as the most violent film he has ever seen, and telling everyone to run out and see it.
The CRTC is the Canadian version of the FCC, and faces some of the same political pressure. But nobody's being "kicked out". Stern was dropped in Montreal after offending the French-canadians (they're the most thin-skinned people in the fucking world), and Q107 in Toronto dropped him because they wanted to go to a music-based morning show, not three hours of talk. And Leykis is being dropped by the Vancouver station because they're tired of having to edit his show to meet broadcast standards.Lord Poe wrote:Is the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission religious based, or just an uptight Canadian version of the FCC?
