How about we start a new usergroup with a forum devoted to horror? I think we need more than just the generic "fantasy" forum for it, so let's start a group too? What do you guys think? What should we call it?

Nah, the forums we have now are plenty.

Meh, if it was a HP Lovecraft, C'thulu cult on this board then maybe I can understand, but a separate forum for horror enthusiasts seems too much IMO.

I say nay.

Exactly why should you get this usergroup?

I don't want to HAVE this usergroup, I just want to be a part of it.

It might have to do with the fact that you just wanted a new usergroup for no reason at all.

Right now, it's the same difference. There's no real good reason for it so far as I can see.

The reason I brought it up is because I know I am not the only horror buff here. Now, maybe there are not enough people to devote a group to it. If there are enough people, however, I would think it's not a bad idea to consider.

Simply having a lot of people that want one, doesn't mean there's a reason for it (see SEGNOR, Brit Conspiracy, etc). What there generally needs to be is a reason for the private forum and group as opposed to just mingling with the general discussion on the board.

And do what, exactly? The Fantasy forum covers all possible topics quite nicely, IMO.

How about we rename the fantasy forum to fantasy and horror? Maybe?

Then we'd have to rename it "Fantasy and Horror and Anime and Anything Else Not Included in Sci-Fi"

I could easily see it.

We could encompass other names as well since Other Sci-Fi is more then not subjects with sci-fi(anime or otherwise) while Fantasy encompasses the rest.

Could prevent the occasional confusion of where something should be slotted.
