Can someone please tell me where to go or how to get into the nightly chats? I would like to participate.

Go and live in a different time zone?
Start suffering from insomnia?
Drink copious amounts of Coffee/Red Bull/ whatever ?

First, Download AIM. Then make yourself your own buddy. Then right click on your name while logged on and select "Invite to chat." Change the chatroom address in the bottome portion of the window which pops up to "SDNet" minus quotes. Boom! You're in, get all the spam outta your system there and come back here with only meaningful, contributory posts! Just like me!!!

Yeah, I figured it out. Posted a plea before sifting through and figuring it out myself. Impatience is bad.

Just go to My AIM---->find buddy----->yourname in search field------>select add buddy

I think. although, since I don't have AIM at work, I'm going off of memory, but I'm not too far off.

So, is anyone there now, because it looks empty to me...

I see Walper, Rogue 9 and (I think)Syntax Vorlon. You seem to have done it wrong.

It's also a prime source of sig quotes. All that insanity in real time leads to funny, funny statements.

There's an IRC chat too, but AIM seems to be in the vogue now.

I'd recommend trying Gaim or Trillian instead of AIM. Gaim allows you to join a chat room without having to go through the hassle of inviting yourself; you just click "Join Chat", type the name of the chatroom, and you're off.

We got rid of the fundie. All that had to happen was someone mention that half the chat was gay and he screamed and left. Who knew it'd be so easy?

Miranda IM has that same functionality.
