Aussie Gathering

Post by Mr Flibble »

Since there are quite a few of us Aussies, I thought maybe we could organise a get together. So post here if you are interested, and if so preferences for date and location. My personal preference would be Melbourne (well first Adelaide, but it is too far from everyone else here)and anytime it is uni holidays is good for me, although later rahter than sooner, so I can save some cash for it. So anyone else interested?

I'm interested.

Might Sydney be a good idea because it's more central? For the Brisbanians and such.

hmm, it would have to be a weekend, preferable a long one, and would have to be sat as I am busy most sundays.

Sydney (because it's cheap) or Melbourne (because... er... something else :P ) gets my vote.

I would prefer Melbourne; mainly because I don't have to go anywhere.

...

And because we kick so much arse (though that should be obvious). :P 8)

Seriously, when is this meetup going down? I will be out of the country most of April, so if the plan was for then I must bow out. :(

It's Australia, there's enough alcohol for anything.

I decree she can.

I vote for Melbourne... because everyone knows Queensland is full of serial killers and Sydney isn't as much fun :)

What has Melbourne got that Sydney hasn't?

Can you edit your post to make it a poll, and give us a few choices? Or can we just declare Melbourne the sunny destination?
