It looks like life is catching up with me, so i'm going to have to bid farewell to SD.net for a few months. The wife and i are off to St. Maarten tomorrow for a week, and upon our return we have to pack up our belongings and move them from our apartment into storage. You see, we are buying a house and the closing won't be for another month and a half, so we have to stay in the small in-law apartment at my wife's parents house for several weeks. Home internet access will be limited, and work is just getting too busy (go manufacturing sector! woo-hoo!). So until i get all settled into the new house, i really won't be around.... so today will most likely, be my last day for a good long time. So... keep it real yo! peace out to muh pimps and bitches, and remember : if da bizzatch can't swizzim, then she's bizzound to drizzouwn.

Good luck with all of the legal and moving difficulties normally associated with a new home. Say "hi" to the missus from all of us.

Ah, the joys of owning a house. Though, it seems in my house anyway, that there is ALLWAYS something that needs fixing

about the house... it's a 3 bedroom ranch style house, so there's plenty of room for little ones.
![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
. The bedrooms and living room have have hardwood floors, and the house is solid. It was built in 1958, so it was made before contractors started using particle board and plywood and shit like that. The cool thing is that it's an estate sale and all the stuff inside comes with the house..... Antique furniture, knick-knacks and even some toys from the 1950's. The downside is that the decor reminds me of the set from the tv show
Happy Days. Needless to say i'll be quite busy scraping off old wallpaper , ripping up linoleum, painting and sorting through piles o' junk.

Well, we'll miss you, congratulations on the new house, and remember that something major is probably going to happen here when you're away.

It's from the 50s. Probably has so much lead paint it could take a direct hit from a nuke without any help from j00.

Welcome to the priveleges and responsibilities of being a home owner.
Congrats on the purchase!
I helped take apart a house that was an estate sale. It took a whole day to rip up the ugly green linoleum in the kitchen. Another half a day to cut and roll up the orange shag carpet. You have your work cut out for you.

If the roof doesn't fall down, it's a successful purchase. Congrats.
