This looks to be poking fun at anime fangirls. Reading their blogs, websites, and message board postings is a pain in the neck, mostly because half of them are composed of

I especially hate the XD smiley, because of it's abuse by fangirls, AND fucking asshole 12 year olds who taunt you on the net. The comic also covered their annoying habit of throwing the sama honorific on whatever bishonen/someguy they happen to be obsessed with.

Megatokyo and other similar joints are crawling with these people.
