How old were you when you became aware of your own skeleton?

IIRC I found out when I was 4...

BTW - in case you were wondering, I was inspired by the Ray Bradbury story "Skeleton"... (whose protagonist was 40 when he found out that he was a vertebrate - the results border between the hilarious and the creepy)

0-3 Years. Sesame Street was the first to inform me of my vertebrate nature.

Not sure, I split my head open when I was 5, so I must have figured out something was in there by then... :D

Well, I split my head open before I could remember it.. so when I broke a bone next time, I sure knew.

I don't remember. I was quite aware of my skeleton for as long as I can remeber.

Have a very nice day.

I broke my collarbone when I was 5, and heard of skeletons before that, but I don't know exacty when I first heard of it. I'm sure it's sometime between when I was born and now, though.

Good, I was beginning to think I was the only person who didn't keep track of stuff like that.

I can't remember not knowing my skeleton. It's like saying 'When did you discover the sky was blue?' It's just an accepted fact.
