This is what happens when I get bored. Reality show concept:
There are two teams of 15 paintball players. Every episode they compete, and the losing team has to vote one of its own members off. However I'll throw screwballs to fuck with player's minds, such has handing out a packet to every player and saying that one random person has been turned into a spy for the other team, but no actually have anyone become a spy; have the teams eat together; having both teams try to take a base in the middle of the playing field held by a merc team.

The finale happening once the total number of players has been whittled down to 5 players, they are brought together as one team and told they must reach a flag...guarded by all of the losers. The first winner to reach the flag gets the prize(20-25mil), if the losers win, the money gets split up between them.


Have I created a reality show that actually doesn't suck?

I think it's kind of interesting. Except that it is another of the situations where I might as well just be playing paintball myself.

And the prize is very impractical.

Sounds alot like american gladiators with just one event, and all the incompitant(sp?) people guarding the money flag ...

A good reality show would be along the lines of thunderdome or battle royale. That i'd watch.

I was thinking that you could take some uninhabited island, set up hidden cameras all over the place, release 16 different people into it armed with only a knife and making them hunt for their own food and build their own shelter while a hunting party hunts them down with some non-lethal weapon like a paintball gun, and allowing them to ally with others if they so desire. The monetary prizes range from $100-$1000 from the first person "shot" to $100,000-$2,500,000 for the last one.

I'm pretty sure that would be expensive as hell to produce, though, and it would be scrapped in favor of a show where a woman chooses one of 25 men, but all but one has AIDS or something.

Good idea- you'd have to throw in all sorts of mind games with them, though.

Forget paintball, change it to aerosoft, and while no ones looking swap the aerosoft guns for real weapons.

Er, they had this sort of show on Bravo here in the UK already.
