Do you seek out bad reviews?

Of anything? Rottentomatoes is a favorite website for me- any movie that I can tell is going to be shit, I go straight to RT and read the shitty reviews (ignoring the goods ones, of course) and proceed to laugh throughout the whole exercise.
Anyone else do this? Right now I'm still smiling from funny as hell reviews of Agent Cody Banks 2 ,for example.

I just watch the Movie Show with David and Margaret, and go from there really. I know which movies are going to be bad (mainly because I will see them while working), so I only want to know which movies are going to be worth my time to go in and sit down and watch.

Not really.
I seek both and after watching the film or playing the game I see who was nitpicking and who was watching the film or playing the game.
It's funny because sometimes the couple bad reviews are more on spot then the hundreds of good, and vice versa.

I don't read reviews, I watch the movie or play the game or whatever then decide if I think it's good or not.
Even if it's a movie everyone hates, or a movie I had to switch my brain off to watch... If I enjoyed it, I think it's a good film. Hell, I even enjoyed Star Trek: Nemesis, and I know what you guys think of that.
Long story short: I don't need some nerd to tell me what to like.

I never, EVER pay any attention to game/movie reviews. The critics almost never have my interests and think very differently from me on a very fundamental level. If I like or dislike a game/movie chances are it will be for reasons different from 99.9% of the rest of humanity. I guess this costs me more money every now and then, but avoiding something you'll like because a critic was overly harsh on it costs you something untangible.

I read some bad reviews, but only for things I hate anyway.
It seems that when someone says that thing A sucks, and you hate thing A, then you enjoy reading it, but when they say that thing thing B sucks, but you like thing B, they come off as a whiner to you.

I don't deliberately seek out reviews that say movie is bad, but I sometimes enjoy reviews that are poorly written or stupid. *coughCAPALERTcough*

I hated playing HALO!
That said I like reading reviews of movies I know I'll hate or have seen and hate.

I love reading Seanbaby's reviews in Electronic Gaming Monthly. His website is also brilliant.

I like to read bad reviews, because I find reading a review where something gets bashed more entertaining than reading one where something is lionized. A personal favorite bad move review site is jabootu.com, whose reviews tend to be very detailed and fun.

i'll read the reviews to see what some of the professionals think about it, but for the most part i don't rely on them to make up my mind. usually this is only when videogames are concerned, however. movies i'm more amiable on shelling out the cash for. compared to $50.00 for a game, $15.00 isn't that much.

Critical Mess is fucking great
I also like to read Harry Knowles' masturbatory fanboy ravings. They're just as entertaining as bad reviews in their awfulness.
Roger Ebert is also great at writing scathing reviews. Here are some of his best:
North
Armageddon
Milk Money

Holy shit, the Armageddon review is gold!
