Yes, this is a parody. They showed this article, on a different website at the time, on The Screen Savers a good while ago. Must have been early last year, at the latest.

I recognized the parody-ness when it started getting into AMD/Linux hate, plus Right-wing pro-Windows crap.

It tried, but failed, to be funny.

This is old, very old. It was posted as a message on a forum more then two years ago and the responses in that thread were astounding. Paradoy or not, it wasn't created for a webpage, it was written by someone and posted under an account acting as if it was real.
