well after many busy weeks away, i finally got a net connection again. I'm now officially a resident of Vancouver, Canada. And fuck is it beautiful here! I love Toronto but its a real shithole compared to Vancouver.
Anyway, its been quite a while since i was last here. Anything new? I see one more "village idiot" label...so i guess same old, same old. :)

Welcome back and congratulation on your residency.

There is a new group dedicated to write the history of SD.net.

Toronto to Vancouver...that's quite a move.

I've never been to either but Toronto always looked pretty good on the tube so I guess Vancouver must be really nice.

Vancouver is far more scenic than Toronto because of the ocean and the mountains. Toronto is just a city on a lake. On the downside, Vancouver has a "small-town" feel to it, and that abominable year-round sameness to its weather.

Sounds kind of like Tucson except that we're in the desert and if anyone bothered to really look, a shithole. Lots of scenic views and weather that to me seems the same most of the year.

We definately have a lot of that small town feel to it. Part of the problem with this place is that the city government continues to act that way while having real city type problems.

fuck man its 12 degrees and beautiful sunshine--in Toronto they're still having fucking snowstorms!! think i'll be staying here for a while, its like a vacation. The most beautiful city backdrop i've ever seen, clean air, small town charm and big city convienience.

Where abouts in Vancouver are you? like in the city of "Vancouver" or out in one of the suburb cities part of the GVRD? eg:Burnaby, New westminster, Surrey etc...

Evidence of your presence on this board is missing from the Chronicle. Therefore, you don't exist and are a figment of my imagination.

Just kidding, welcome back, man.

Have a very nice day.

Vancouver, but outside of downtown. Just a little bit east of Broadway and Commercial Drive.
