While watching my new Dogtanian DVDs over the weekend, I remembered having a crush on Aramis as a child.

Nah, I don't think so. You'd only be a furry if you were principally or exclusively attracted to or got aroused by anthropomorphic animals. Plus, you were a kid at the time. I for instance vaguely recall having a crush on Gadget from Rescue Rangers.

Just liking an anthromorphic character doesn't make someone a furry.

It's if you don't find normal people attractive as well, or find anthromorphic characters to be much more attractive.
