When Bristoe fires the cannon, a 10-pound pumpkin is hit with 11,300 pounds of force. The pumpkin projectile leaves the muzzle at about 900 miles per hour, he said.

During the test, the cannon fired a pumpkin through the rear of a Pontiac.

The annual competition in New Jersey has had several cases of shots reaching beyond 5000 feet. Every year they have to buy up more land for the firing range.

Yes. Combined with the vertically fired guided round 155 tech the USN has been playing around with and installed in my bunker, It would make for a most impressive support weapon.

Not the actual weapon its self. However Gerald Bull was contracted by Iraq is build several superguns using technology and information gathered from his HARP work. One 350mm prototype was built. However the 1000mm full sized versions where never completed, the British stopped the export of the last pieces. However its unlikely they ever could have been completed as Bull was assassinated on 22 March 1990.

All the parts and the prototype where destroyed by the UN after the Gulf war, the invasion of Kuwait happened just four months after Bull's death. The main suspect is Israel, but not because of the guns, Bull was also doing work on Iraq's ballistic missile.

Bull also designed the G5 155mm artillery peice for South Africa. Most of the worlds artillery today is based off of this gun.

Yeah,I heard about that. I also heard about the Israelis being the ones most likely to have assassinated Bull.
