So, just for fun, how many of you think I should change my ScreenName after the wedding? More than one has suggested "Lady Nitram" for the new one.. but give me suggestions and opinions!

I like the ones the two of you have now but if you do change them I think you both should change.

I like Lord Nitram and Lady Nitram.

LadyNitram seems appropriate.

I think it should stay the same, though you two could drop the sir and lady parts.

LordTevar and LadyNitram I 'think' I could cope with.Barely.
But I really would prefer if you stuck to your current nicks.

It's just that I've got used to the threat assessments:

#1: SirNitram-can Hadoken you all the way back into the SilverAge if you ever so much as look wrongly at #2
#2: LadyTevar-never so much as look at wrongly because of what #1 can do.

I'll second the "Lord & Lady Nitram" if you really want to change it. Otherwise, leave well enough alone.

I say leave it as is.

OK, I ovted for the feminazi option because I had the most masculine of all my lesbian friends rant at me for suggesting that the male of a het couple we know change his name..

Agreed. Hell, I still sometimes wonder for a split second who the heck Kuja is.

Maybe it's my feminist friend talking through me (as up until meeting her, the name change stuff wasnt something I'd given much thought to), but I might tend towards him changing his, but only if you're taking his name at the wedding, the change would only get confusing if it was something entirely different, as long as there's similarity, I'm sure everyone can cope...

Alternatively, there's always paper/scissor/stone to settle it, let me know who goes first and what they use, I'm always looking to prove my 'scissors opening move majority theory'...

Keep it the same. Lady Nitram sounds.... strange.

I don't want to have to type out "Lord" or "Lady" along with "Nitram"... just saying "Nitram" and referring to your soon-to-be-hubbie is good enough for lazy old me.

Anyway, leave it as is. That will prevent unintended accidents with lazy typers in the TGODs firing on the wrong person.

I was going to suggest Puberto. But then I thought about it and settled on Lady Diana. Before changing my mind once again and finally realising that your current name is just fine.

I advise you to leave your name and title as they are, milady. But should it please you to change it, do so. (Pretty sure you're a fair bit higher than me on the SCA ladder, so yeah. )

I vote for keeping it.

According to the usualy protocol a Lady would keep her name when marrying a knight, social precedence and all.
