It was raining pretty hard a few minutes ago in Normally pleasant Pasadena CA. And right now the fucking Fire alarm is leaking like a bitch, making a small lake in my room and soaking the floor so throughly its coming down hard downstairs. The doorway to my room is flooded.

However their are two things I'm happy about.

One, being 15 I live with my dad and I will only have to do the dirty work, if any.

Two, we live in an apartment, and we are not tied down. We're leaving this joint baby! Away we go to a better place.

Where is the fire alarm? Is it in the ceiling or on the wall? Either way I'd be concerned about how structurally sound that building is if rain is pooring out of the ceiling or wall.

I think it's even worse if it's the fire alarm activation switch that the water is coming out of.

I only think its a fire alarm, if it were a fire sprinkler it would be tolerable, as I could understand. But its a fire alarm as far as I can tell. Its on the ceiling, and it could well be a fire alarm activation switch with my knowledge. Yesterday or so some people (hopefully workers) were up on the roof fooling around. The last time it rained heavily there was a leak in the window, but nothing like this.

It sounds like it's a good thing that you and your dad are getting out of that building and moving to some place nicer.

Yup, though it might be a few weeks in till all the funds and what are ready, and we have to find a place. I'll probably do that, in fact I'll be looking around on my way to this improve show.

While it sucks to not have our own place, it is nice not to have to pay for broken shit.

The water heater broke this year and leaked all over the garage. That sucked.
