Well, the title says it pretty much. A friend of mine has a site, and i've just thought how much money we could make if we turned it into a porn site.

Think we should go for it?

What do you like/hate on porn sites (regarding layout etc, not just "naked ladies! LOLZ!"?

lots of banners are always a pain in the ass. simple layouts seem to work best from what i've seen. as well as offering content that's either fairly rare, original, or simply massive, is a great way to draw the people.

no, there is still plenty of opportunity for you to display both your goodies and your skills in the erotic arts.

you need to put in categories. e.g. hardcore, anal, lesbian....
once you´re in a category there have to be sub-categories with the chicks name´s, e.g. cindy, mindy, mandy.... with sample photos.
if you click one of the sample photos you should be directed to a site with thumbnails.

a porn site needs order. nothing´s worse than a porn site with a photo of cindy toying next to one of bob analing jim.

Keep advertisements to a minimum, so you can fit more pr0n on without having a bandwidth seizure.

For god's sake, have some variety in the poses and what-have-you.

Put in a large free thumbnail section, so people like me can get our free porn. (people like me being horny 15 year old guys who have no credit cards, nor a source of revenue)

take requests for pictures. and do photoshoots on a regular basis. webcams that arent inherently sex related but have the POTENTIAL for nakedness and sex are also a plus. you can sit around on your ass most of the time, with a few shower scenes and wankoff scenes, and you'll get hundreds and thousands subscribing at $10 a month.

oh, and something else you might want to do is go out to scene clubs regularly with a camera and snap photos. put them on the free portion of the site to entice people with more than just good looks but also an experience.
