Hmm, I'm trying to construct a phrase for a story. Basicly I want to say something akin to "Child of Gods whore" in Latin. Or some fancy way of saying a 'bastard'.

I'm not sure on the gramar but looking it up on the latin to english dictionary, I got that 'meretrix Deus' would be 'Gods whore' and 'Liber' is a child. So how would I construct a sentence with proper grammer to say this?

Stick an "of" between "child" and "god's whore."

You'll need to use the genitive case, which shows possession. Meretrix must be third declension, so it is meretrixum. It could undergo a root change, but I don't know offhand.

Child of God's whore = Deuum meretrixum liber.

Thanks, chief. So that would be third person, right? Like telling some one that they are a bastard instead of calling ones self a bastard?

Um, no. Deuum meretrixum liber would just be "child of God's whore". "You are a child of God's whore" would be Tu sunt deuum meretrixum liber.

Or you could just say, "you bastard", "Tu Nothus"

I mean, we're not talking whores plural here, so why the um?

Fuck, I knew I was getting something wrong. It's meretricis, not meretrixum.
