I was wondering if anyone knew if GL has said or thought anything about the Wachowski brother's own saga.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Really? I thought that Peter Jackson was pretty adamant about sticking with film photography, while Lucas has been pimping digital as of late.Dalton wrote:I think he mentioned that he enjoyed the LOTR movies. I know that Lucasfilm had demoed some new cameras for PJ.
Well, it might have only been a demo and not a serious attempt to get Jackson to go digital. Even 24p 1920x1080 doesn't look quite as good as film, especially in low-light situations. The Kernel wrote:Really? As I recall Sean Astin got the ILM guys to stay an extra day and used their cameras to shoot his short film.phongn wrote:Well, it might have only been a demo and not a serious attempt to get Jackson to go digital. However, some of ILM's work with "digital storyboards" and such was adopted by WETA.
I don't think he got them to stay an extra day, but the film was shot with one of there cameras.Dalton wrote: As I recall Sean Astin got the ILM guys to stay an extra day and used their cameras to shoot his short film.
