Looking good. One of the reasons I'm looking forward to this new Bat film is because of Bale; although I wish that Kevin Conroy was doing it, I greatly enjoyed Bale's performance in Equilibrium and I think he'll give Michael Keaton a run for best live-action Batman (though the best is and always will be Conroy in my book.

But can he have the Batman/Bruce Wayne attitude?

He seems too short to be Batman.

Actually his height fits perfectly..

Batman is supposed to be 6 feet 2 inches and so is Bale.
But at 210 pounds Batman is alot more heavily built than Bale though.

I think he can do it if he gets a decent Batmobile and Batarmour.
And a cool black cape but thats sorta standard-issue .

I'll feel better when they show him in the suit.

And I still say the Batmobile blows serious chunks.

Whoever thought of that design for the Batmobile is a fucking idiot.

Its horrible. The more you look at it the worse it gets.

If it doesnt have a pop-up Gatling Gun Ill be pissed off .

He was funny but he was so ridiculous most of the time,dude had hot chicks who wanted him and he acted like a wuss.

I have to agree, Adam West is where it's at.

Michael Keaton a close second.

Adam West only good point of Bats was that his whole bit fit the stories of the time....and that he was much better then the 1940's version.

He himsewlf though was overweight and his costume was probably the funniest thing out there.

The Batmobile though of the time at least looked good.

I think it's important to cast Bruce Wayne first, Batman second, as everybody (even Keaton) looks funky in black rubber, but Clooney, for example, looked stupid as Wayne.

So this Bale guy looks good.

Adam West, although, good, doesn't count to me as a true Batman, because I think the TV series missed the dark knight aspect.

Christian Bale as an adult will forever be the narcisstic psychopath from American Psycho to me. But he does look good in the suit.

NO! The Batmobile! Argh! I seriously hope that it would be a special batmobile for off-road terrain.

Christian Bale though...he owns! His performance in Equilibrium was very good.

Thats the new batmobile Jesus Christ sucking a lollypop Thats dumb. I've heard that it resembled a Lambogini (sp?) and now seeing the pic, I can see where they got that but it is still U-G-L-Y.

For HALO, sure. For Aliens the Return, sure. For Mad Max IV, sure. Batman? Fuck.

The worst thing about the new Batmobile is the exposed tires, and the blockiness. It's supposed to be sleek and smooth, not a fucking M1A2.
