It seems as though every corner of the internet is being invaded by brats saying something like "I'm Rick James, bitch"

Could someone clue me in about this bullshit?

It's from Chappelle's Show, you twat. It's a hilarious bit, like most of Chappelle's stuff these days, but it has been overdone a bit (again, like most of the stuff on Chappelle's Show these days).

Rick James is a rather marginal rock star from the 1980s, BTW. He's pretty well known for being a sex addict and doing drugs. Lots of them.

Although I disagree with one part of it's fame. Everyone saying "I'm Rick James, bitch" line. I use the "CHARLIE MURPHY!" and then sucker punch someone more often.
