would you rather be a highlander or a vampire? why?

Highlander.

Because they can tolerate sunlight, and have a more or less normal complexion.

Highlander i don't want to spent eternity running away from the sun.

Highlander, by virtue that not burning to a crisp with simple sunlight and immunity to most of everything else that are vampire weaknesses are a good thing.

Highlander immortality is better.

Only proplem are all the mad ones, who wants to behaed you.

Na, Alucard's kind of immortality, thats where it's at, sunlight, they seem to be able to go out in it.

Depends...do you get the immortality, or do you get the ancilliary things too?

Highlander wins if you dont get all the other powers associated with vampires, if you get even a few of them, vampire blows it clean out the water, walks up and kicks it's head clean off.

I'll say Vampire, because I don't want to spend all my time continually being hunted for my head.

At least with a vampire, I get cool powers like super strength, turning into mist, charm people to be sympathetic to my plight, etc.

If its the mindless-blood-thirsty-psychopathic-killer vampire type, then I'd go with highlander.

Hmm, I think this wasn't intended as a vs debate of who would win in a fight.
I would prefer to be an immortal scot to a bloodsucking beast who can't see the sunlight and which you can't consider human anymore.

Vamp, dependent on which myth specifically you're talking about. So not one of the shittier ones.

If it's a toss up between shittier myth vamps or blade or buffy vamps, and i can't be a daywalker, or have that cool ring, I'd choose highlander.

depending on which mythos of vampire you're using, having sex tends to be either problematic or not enjoyable at all anymore.

WoD Vampire > Blade > Vampire "with Soul" (from Buffy) > Highlander > Dracula Vampire > Dusk t'ill Dawn Vampire

Lets face it, you'll be hunted no matter which one you choose, so I'll go with the Highlander version. This way there is no real restrictions on my movment and sex is still a viable option.

Yeah, I for one would like to know what form of vampire we are dealing with. And for some information, a WoD vampire can see sunlight again, it would just be a really really good idea to have LOTS of Fortitude, and be completely covered in heavy clothing.

Since type of Vampire wasn't listed, I choose Vampiric imortality like shown in the LXG movie. I effectively remain who I am, but now I will live forever and be even more unkillable then a Highlander series Imortal.

Definatly Highlander Immortal. I don't have to worry about walking in the sun, touching crosses, or eating garlic, and if someone comes for my head, i'll just shoot him and chop his off while he's "dead".

The vampire has too many restrictions just to survive, plus... all that blood sucking.. no thanks. Just give me a f*cking sword
