Okay, i'm bored... and i just polished my boots... (old Army boots, don't ask where my dad found 'em... it's kind of an interesting story though!)... and i was wondering--

What type of shoe polish do you use? I'm not talking about your brand (although I do consider Kiwi the best)... I'm talking type. Type as in...

1: Paste (usually comes in a small metal tin)

2: Liquid (often applied with a bottle)

3: Spray-on

4: Spit-shine

Me, I reckon paste gives the best and longest-lasting shine; after that, spit-shine, then liquid (which's good for a quick touch-up when necessary), and then sprays.

Your opinion, hmm....?

I wear black leather dress shoes five days out of the week, but I never use polish. I like the scuffed-up look.

I'm pretty old fashioned, so paste it is.

EDIT: I dont get what Straha has to do with all this.

I use Kiwi in the can for both boots and shoes. I generally apply it via cotton balls, and I use neutral in addition to black for my shoes.

Ah yes, neutral...

Parade gloss black, then some neutral, then more parade gloss black, whenever I get around to my major "fix the damn shoes" project.

Until then, I'll just use these.
