Actually, it seems to have been created with the express purpose of being seen without being aired to generate controversy and thus, publicity.

The pigeon commercial is morbidly amusing, but the cat one... uh... yeah, tasteless barely starts to describe it...

Since I'm not a cat lover, I can't get too worked up about it, but when I imagine that being a dog that they did something like that with, I'd probably strangle the guy who made it with his own bootlaces...

I'm not really a cat or a dog lover, but I just find it simply revolting because that's all it really is.

I've seen that before, along with the pigeon one. The pigeon one is funny, but the cat one....thats just fucking morbid. Whoever came up with that idea should have his penis welded to the exhaust pipe....

Okay, that commercial is just beyond tasteless. I can just imagine some mentally fucked sadist trying to think up some new way of torturing other organisms, seeing this commercial, and saying, "Hey, that looks great!"

Of course I'm not saying ban it. The fucked up sadists will find ways to exercise their depravities regardless of what the TV tells them, but I think it's rather fucked up that a company would encourage this sort of behavior.

I give it a 6 out of 10 on the funny scale.

The ad is succeeding. It makes controversy and thus gets publicity and since there's no such thing as bad publicity these days, as sick as that ad is with the cat, it's doing what it set out to do.

I really don't see a problem with the ad. A cat's head is lopped off in a sun roof. No screaming, no gore...nothing. I would have found it funnier if the cat was underneath the car near the engine, someone starts it and you here the cat "MEOOORRROOOWW!!!!", *car shakes* *wood chipper sounds* and fur shoots out the back of the exhaust. The only reason why the above commercial is funny is because it makes people so angry. In reality it is uncreative and lame.

I think the idea of a self-aware car decapitating domestic pets is a little too much for people to tolerate. I'm certainly not going to rush out and buy a car that markets itself as a mean road vehicle because it performs animal mutilations when not in use.

Normally I'd be very disturbed, but I just got back from watching The Punisher with my Sandy & my BF which seems to have completely desensitized me for the time being...

That's just sick, no two ways about it. I can't believe something made me side with PETA. I feel so dirty....
