Ok, what's the extent of your real life emergency medical doings??
Me: treated 2nd degree burns in work unit, treated idiot who fell down a hill skateboarding and wound up stradling a cactus, tried to save the family dog when he got hit by a speeding car, and managed to get first treatment to a 3rd degree burn case, and a diabetic in shock, while on the phone with paramedics.

I one time fell asleep with the heat padding on and gave myself three burns on my ass and through great gymnastic feats, managed to cauterize, and bandage them.

wouldn't trust myself treating anyone else, but i've had to treat myself for things like strained/sprained joints, throwing my back out, burns, cuts, and haul myself to the nearest building with a phone (quarter mile away, too damnit) once when i broke my nose after a nasty bike accident.

besides the numoris self-inflicted accidents i put my self through including busting out both front teeth, massive road rash, and a major concusion (all in the same feat) i walked 2 miles with a busted bike home.
treating others i have run most of the gauntlet, strains, sprains, burns, cuts/lacerations, punture wounds, and a whole lotta other wierd stuff. and to cap that all off i am not even an EMT yet, but soon - firefighter (in arizona 90% of calls are medical, and fire deparment always showes up first).

I've got First-Aid training, but the worst I've ever had to treat were bad scrapes from kids at summer camp.
