Good Day to Be a Sharks Fan

The Sharks solve Aebischer and light up Colorado, 5-2.
San Jose straight up outplayed the Avs in game 1, coming out of the gate with a full head of steam and capitalizing early, then keeping the momentum. The Sharks were also disciplined, keeping penalties to a minimum, and they ended up seeming like Mother Teresa next to the Avs, who by the end of the third went crazy and started fights with anything that moved.
The one thing the Sharks have to watch out for is Colorado's powerplay. Both Colorado goals came with the man advantage, and Los Tiburones can't expect to score five goals in every game. They'll need to keep their PK tight if they expect to win the series.
My prediction stands at San Jose in seven. They'll win three at home and one on the road.
In other news that San Jose fans like, the Flames pulled off a road victory to start off against Detroit. If the Flames can beat Detroit, or at least tire them out, it'll go a long way towards getting the Sharks to the finals.
