Meaning i can (legally) buy tobacco products and lottery tickets and have sex. Go me!

Where the hell are you that you can do that? The age to do that shit is 18 here, except for sex, which is 16 in Florida...

Hm, here in Germany you can legally have sex, buy tobacco, drink and buy alcohol (except hard liqour, for which you need a grown-up at your side to drink).
The only things you need to wait for 18 are driving cars, voting, and buying porn.

Meh, I lost mine to my best friend about a year ago. It was a little embarrassing the first time, but she was caring and experienced, so it was fine. We're still having really great sex. And while it isn't the big deal young people think it is...it is still a lot of fun.

Actually, you can have alcohol at 14 provided you have a parent or guardian with you and you're having a meal.

I'm not presenting it like it's some kind of relationship destroyer. Most will be understanding, and if they aren't, then you should re-evaluate the relationship. I'm just saying it's better not to have to be embarassed the first time.

The age of consent used to be 14 down here. It's at 16 now though thanks to a vote a few years ago.
