Organ donor?

Inspired by Durandal's birthday thread, his license in said birthday thread, and my lack of eyesight...
I'm not sure how it works in other countries, but in the U.S. you check a little box when you get your driver's license which states on your license whether or not you are a donor. (The new Maryland licenses, for instance, have a cartoonish little red heart on them to signify donor status).
Are you an organ donor? Why or (more interestingly) why not?
And if you're from outside the U.S. and use a different system for determining who's a donor and who's not, please ed-joo-muh-cate me.

Yep.
I figure should I die in some poor way, I'll have my ashes given to my family after their done with me. If my poor old sod of a body can save someone, all the better.

Once I get finally pwn0red, I'd hope to be able to save someone's life with what I no longer need.

No, squeemish about having my body cut up, though quite a few people would like to force me to donate my manliness...

Hell yeah. Anyone who doesn't must just be selfish

Yes I am. I believe Organ Donation should be default, with an opt out card for arseholes, instead of having to carry an opt in card, which is the current system, etc.

No, I'm not. Not even posthumously (which would violate the way I want to die*, I want to be completely gone)
* Cremated, and have all my ashes stuck in a barrel of nitroglycerin which will be shot

Um, first of all I hope you're dead
before you get cremated, and second of all, I believe (though I'm not positive) they can remove your organs and then cremate the rest of the body, which would leave your memorial service-type-thing unmarred.
Oh, you edited your post while I was typing mine. Hmph.

I chose other. I have no problem giving my bits and pieces to save others, my wife knows this and will see to it, but there's no way I'm signing an organ donor card. I may sound paranoid but I don't want somebody deciding that I'm 'as good as dead' at the scene of an accident or that they're going to stop trying to save me because I have a nice pair of pink lungs that someone else could use. Once I'm dead you can have them but you better try your damnedest to keep me going first.

If I'm dead, what do I need my liver for?

I'm donating my body to science. I hope those first year med students find me a fun slab of meat to toy with.

No.
Actually, since my learner's permit has been expired for years, I hope that something like that isn't expired as well...

Because I don't want to.

Well, I have a license, but I don't I've registered as an organ donor yet. I'll do that when I try for my M-class license.

I'm not sure if I'll put myself down as a donor.
I like the idea of a little bit of Mike in people after I go. That's why I donate blood when I can.
On the other hand, I like me complete.
Technically both of those are selfish though.

What? Saying "no" to organ donation is expired? Or are you talking about your actual license?
As for me...mine doesn't say it, but yes, I would. They didn't ask me though, and I forgot to ask them. Oh well, I'll just have to hang around 'til my 21st birthday when I go get my new card I guess.
But I have no problem with it, and I'd reiterate Joe's question to Spanky: why not?

I was wondering if one's donation option expired along with their lisence, since my permit has been expired for three years.
I'm not an organ doner because I don't want to be one.

This is like taking a ride in a centrifuge. Why don't you want to let someone who needs them have your organs when they are absolutely, positively no good to you anymore?

Yup! Take anything remotely useful, I won't need it after I Bite the Big One!

@ Joe
Spanky, "because I don't want to" isn't a real reason. In my first post, I asked why are you an organ donor or, more interestingly, why are you not. So...?
