I have been assigned to help my sister with a Year 10 science assignment.

Basically, I have to help come with an idea for a study she could do. Eg: Charting the growth of plants under differing conditions, aerodynamics of paper planes etc. We're essentially stumped.

Does anyone here possess any ideas as to what could be done?

tidal forces in european costal ocean regions at the depth of about 40 meters.

european costal ocean regions and their flora and fauna as well as geological aspects.

ships. what kind of ships are reasonable to use if you wanted to transport an underwater station with the aproximate size of 150m² from one european costal region to another. e.g. from northern germany to southern france.

then send me what you found out. can you be done till monday?

Wow.

That's waaayy beyond anything we're trying to do.

Right now the front runner is growing 2 plants, one with water, the other with another as yet undecided substance.

Thank anyhow.

YES! Chart the growth of two of the same plant, in the same soil, one watered with Water. One with URINE! bet THAT hasn't been done before. This will require some commitment on your pat, and show dedication to the teacher. I thikn he ill either be grossed out completely, or very, very impressed. Your findings could also change the future of horticulture...using raw waste to fuel plants....

Neat...

Fuck it, I'm doing it now, and I don't even have a project due.

Okay, you could do what I did in biology class. Test the effects of ethylene gas on plant growth. Have two plants, one control, and one test. Place both under bell jars. Under one bell jar, also place some apple slices, this will provide the ethylene gas. What should happen is there should be severe stunting in the growth of the plant exposed to ethylene.

A few cautions though, first off, remove the apples before they get moldy or the mold will kill the plants. Secondly, do not water them too much or the high humidity in the airtight environment will also kill them.
