Should I date an older girl?

Okeydokey... well, you see the subject? ^ there thats it...
See, the thing is, i met her awhile back... i'm pretty sure i'm getting good signals from her about datin'. of course, i ain't gonna start anything now-- school ends this week for the year-- but next year, who knows?
Anyways, I'm 19-- she's 22... I think she'll be a senior next year (although i'm not certain of that, but it's probable), and i'll be a sophmore.
So, should I go for it when school resumes in August? Or not? Input would be appreciated here...
(btw, she's an extremely pretty redhead chick... she's why i was up so late last night, i was chattin' with her till 1:45 in the morning!)

Dude i lost my virginity at 19 to a 40yo woman, go for it you won't regret it.
In all serriousness dating is dating and age is a number. If you like her and she likes you thats all that matters. Are you still here?

Age should not matter. i've seen women 10+ years older than i am that i'd hit on. If they're up for it and you're up for it, do it.

No. Give her to me.
But seriously, if you like her you should go for it.

A little bit more info... she's had some bad experiences with dating-- hmm... "some" would be rather inaccurate, since she had no less than three boyfriends last semester, I believe... and all of them seem to have ended badly. So she's gotten to be kinda, how do I put it? unsure about starting up any new relationships...

Going out with a 22-year-old girl would be a lot more fun than going out w/ a girl your own age so definately go for it. When I was 19, I went out with 2 girls who were both 22 and it was a good experience for me with both of them because they were more mature about dating and life in general, and also knew how to have more fun than girls my own age. A lot of growing up occurs between the ages of 19 and 22.
Elheru, if you're a decent, sweet, nice guy, she'll like you and appreciate you more than the younger girls who still make the mistake of pursuing aggressive, cocky assholes. She'll probably have a few things to teach you, too
As for her dating history, that has nothing to do with you, or how you and her would get along, if you were going out together. She may have simply had bad luck last semester and you could be a very refreshing experience for her.

I don't really see any age issue at all.

Dating a twenty two year old when you're nineteen is not that big a deal. Provided there's not a huge maturity gap between that's close enough not to be an issue directly.

Three years is nothing, go for it.

It depends on what the relative ages are reallly. When you're younger a few years can make a big difference.

Ive done it a couple times. I generaly make sure they arent psycho chicks as per I would with a younger one, then proceed as normal.

As long as you're roughly the same maturity level, go mad. Three years won't matter at al a few years down the road, and even at 19 its not a huge difference.

It's only 3 years and you're both in college/university so it's no big deal at all. Go rigtht ahead and date her if all the other signs are there.

Yes, please do. Seriously, if you are at the same level in terms of maturity, age is not a big deal. Of course, being 15, what good is my advice? I've never even had a steady girlfriend...

So is waitin' till next semester an issue... should i pursue things now, considering i'll be living just outside town and she's taking summer classes (and therefore staying around)?

If you wait she might be hooked up with someone else by the time you do decide to make your move. I say make it when you've got the opportunity.

Well, the more time there is the more time there is for her to pick up another loser that isn't you.

YES. That is all I have to say. The older ones are freaky.

Older ones have gotten over the "I want an older guy" Atitude, and tend to be more devoted, caring, open, honest, and, quite honestly, better in the sack.
Could I have POSSIBLY fit more commas into that?
Go for it. I'm 26, and the best lay I've ever had was with a 39 year old.
*drool*
With he exception of my current girlfriend, but shes the exception, rather than the rule.

As long as you're both mature enough, I say go.

The big issue, really, is mainly that I'm a long-term-relationship type of guy... I tend to go in looking for a good long run, I'm not into the whole spark-two-months-then-break-up thing. She'll be graduating next term, most likely... that makes things kinda awkward when you look at it from my angle, cause she'll be moving out of town and workin', and i'll still be stuck here. I'm just trying to decide whether it'd be worth it to start up a relationship, considering that...
