Probably not, but even if there was, they probably would have ignored it while oggling the naked people on that side of the lake.
Seems they could all swim or were wearing life vests since nobody drowned though. That has to count for something.

Dude, they're Texans. What makes you think that basic rules for boating are ingrained in their minds? I'm sure if they'd thought about it they would have realized their actions were foolish, but I doubt boating is instinctual for them. If we were talking about Hawaiians or something I'd be mocking their stupidity, but this is like making fun of a Nebraskan who can't surf.
