Last Of The Mohicans Question

Watching The Last Of The Mohicans again, I'm still wondering just what that strange weapon used by some of the Mohicans is called. The weapon is a melee style one like a large boomerang or a crooked ice-hockey stick. Anyone know what these were called?

If you are talking about the Micheal Mann directed remake, I think it was a coustom weapon made for the movie, as I have never seen anything remotely like it in any musem....

one of my pet peeves about mr mann is his tendancy along with mr bruckheimer is their tendancy to rape historical accuracy.

That' MOHEGAN CAsino not Mohican... LOL.

My grandfather has a gunstock club from WAYYYY back. Very nice weapon.
