Ok, I have a project due for tomorrow. Yeah, I know, I should have worked on it earlier. But be nice and help out. Can anyone give me two(2) problems Russia faces with its economy and possible feasible solutions? I'd appreciate it.

Just start listing all of the legacy problems from the old regime. Government corruption, an under-educated populace, weak infrastructure, existing industrial base not geared to produce goods which are in demand in a capitalist global economy, etc.

As for remedies, time is a pretty good one

Can you really label Russian's as undereducated though? Unless you are referring to economics and economic theory that is.

Corruption is a must-mention.

Shit, I didn't see the thred till now. Corruption, incompetence and/or indiference of the politicians is a factor. So is organized crime, although they're not as shamelessly open about it as they were in the 90s. Don't forget Mr. Dobbie and his band of merry ex-KGB men controlling the government. As for the solutions shooting every beurocrat above a certain position and firing the rest should work. So would time.
