In light of the "catchphrase" thread.. which is your "favourite" cuss word or variant thereof (the one that you use most)?

Asshat, but I don't use it most often; I save it for the extra-special fuckheads.

Like with all things, simplicity is a virtue. Henceforth I put down my vote as the irrepressable "Fuck!" It can be anything you want it to be. And you can always end a conversation with the stunning "Fuck you!"

If I'm going to cuss, I might as well be creative.

A nice simple fuck.

Oh, it varies. Sometimes it's a simple, healthy "fuck" or "shit" or "goddamnit". If I'm really mad, it's "Jesus fucking Christ". If I'm totally furious, I'll swear in Italian.

On the other hand, if I'm merely annoyed, "son of a bitch" suffices. On the internet, though, I tend to be more creative, i.e. "crack-smoking donkey fucker" or "asshat" or "hatfucker" or some other ASVS staple, or simply call them a cockgoblin.

Without a doubt Fuck and its many if not limitless variations. One that Ive used recently that I like is "Ratfucker"

Shit, it's got a shitload of uses and is generally more acceptable than fuck

Either Arschloch or other, more imaginative german words when aimed at people or Fuck/Fuck it for general cussing (Even when speaking german).

"Fuck" is also the new favorite cussword of my favorite 3 year old girl, which is kind of funny. (And not my fault!)

Damn...not only does it have my initials but I just love all it's wonderfulness, it easily expresses moods.

"Shit," as in "bullshit."

Though I have shown a profuse use of the both the words asshat(Should have never gone back...but whwen one needs to teach these jokers a lesson...ah well)

and Fucktard...same as asshat but has a more concise meaning.

Fuck if someone has done something to put me in a dangerous position

Shit if I have put myself in a dangerous position, or if some piece of technology I was relying on fails to do what it needs to do, thereby putting me in a dangerous or disadvantaged position.

Damn if I forgot about something I needed to do and have just realised/been reminded.

Other times I generally don't swear much.

Fuck - for being the most versatile word in the language.

Wanker - Because so many people are.

Fuck and assclown. Assclown just has a nice ring to it and fuck is the most useful word ever, and then I can use them together in sentences, for instance, "you fucking assclown" or "what the fuck are you doing assclown?" My day is not complete until I've used both words multiple times.

Shit for me.

I like "fuck" just for the way it sounds. I try not to overuse it so it doesn't lose any of its specialness. (Yes, I know that's not even a word.)

BTW what is the deal with cuss, why do people not just use curse?

Because cussing is swearing, and cursing is saying things like "May all your children and your children's children be cursed to smell like cabbage forevermore!"

Definitely "Fuck" for me, as it's the most versatile. However, I've lately been using 糞(kuso, in romaji) as an expletive, just because it's like "Shit!" and "Dammit!" rolled into one.

variations of the word fuck, (fucktard, assfucker, stupid fuck, etc), bitch, and cunt are the ones most i most commonly use.
