Tomorrow morning, I'm going to Phoenix to visit my dad and I'll be gone until Memorial Day. So, yay!
So, keep up the good times, and I'll see y'all when I come home!

Phoenix? Phoenix?! What the hell is a Buffalonian doing spending a week in Phoenix?!?!
Have fun either way Kuj, I'll try to hold the destructive, perverse, egotistical mind for ya 'till you get back.

This coming Memorial Day is the American version of the holiday where we remember and pay tribute to all those who died in service of our nation. Several other nations have an analogue of it.
Oh yeah, have fun Kuj! Bring lots of sunblock.

Oh, blistering, peeling, wailing and gnashing teeth.
This is the time of year when our local weather forcasters start calling temperatures of 100 to 105 degrees "Warm" (That's 37.8 to 40.6 for the rest of the world).
"Hot" doesn't start to be used until it tops 112 or so.(44.4 degrees celsius)
You don't want to be in Phoenix when they start calling it "Very Hot".

existed in North America.

It's been an even 50 (122 farenheit) in areas around Phoenix before, but that's record breaking heat.
And something to experience, let me tell you.
The highest temperature ever recorded in Arizona is 53.3 degrees, or 128 farenheit.

That's not bad. 95 degrees and 100% humidity: that's bad.
Have a very nice day.

I welcome you to The Vally of the Sun. my only suggestion is hide in a pool or seek refuge with AC. Me, Alyrium Denryle, and Shark Bait are all here in Mesa watching the eggs fry on the street.

I grew up in south-western Ohio, there isn't a thing about heat and humidity I haven't experienced.

That's around the average daily high temperature in Death Valley in July and August. I hear the place has some interesting geology if you ever want to visit.
This is a good sized continent, so you can expect quite a bit of climatic variation.

Hell, I am sure that he could stop by and visit at least me while he is here.
