As of this morning, I have finally graduated from high school. Come August I enter the wonderful world of college. It's such a great feeling!

Graduate school, you leave school. The Yanks overhype school, but then you're there till you're 18, but not treated quite as kid like as in Australia.

I left Hutton Grammar school at 16, went into college then (KGV if you're asking) and left that with a good load of other quali-mah-cations then went to Lancaster University where I am currently doing my dissertation to get that tasty degree.

Then I'll do a masters in something.

Then I'll do a Ph.D if my wallet allows me.

Then I'll takeover the world as I am such a great mad scientist dude.

Australia has always had an image of being too condescending to pupils here. Most of my teachers have expressed dismay over the way they treat them up until 18 when they should be adults then. Of course, that's only what I hear off the grape vine, but I've heard stories from friends there too. Education system is good, just the attitude needs work.
