Work Advice Needed

Tomorrow will be my last day working for victim support. Any one who follows the Venting thread will know my boss has made my life hell for several months now. I threw the head up and applied for several positions. I got the 1st one i applied for, Office Administrator in an Open Learning Centre.
So basically the question is, with it being my last day should i make my feelings about my boss clear and tell her to fuck herself? Or should i go quietly and say nothing?

Tell her to go to hell. That's part of the quitting process when you are leaving a hated job for a nicer job.

depends on whether or not you plan on using this job in any applications or resumes in the future as a reference. If so then i suggest leaving quietly, but if not then do what you want. bad references can really hurt your chance at future employment after all.

No, that's a bad idea if you plan to list the victim support charity job in your resume.
If you're applying for another job two years into the future and have your position for victim support listed as your employment from Month x 2003 - May 2004, the company with whom you're applying can call victim charity and verify that you worked there as you said you did. You're boss could hear your name, and decide that she'll talk to whomever is calling to verify your previous employment with victim charity.
If you say something really mean to your boss on your last day, she may hold a real grudge against you and instead of just confirming that you worked there, decide to take the liberty to tell them how you're unreliable, and stole money from the charity, and basically whatever other lies she could say to preclude you obtaining employment. She sounded mental anyway, so even though it's illegal, she may still slander you to get back at you for getting the last word.
Basically, don't do anything that will prompt her cause chaos in your life in the future.

If you ever want to apply for another job, you wnat to leave quietly. Get a decent reference, leave with a good taste in that employer's mouth, and maybe if thigns don't pan out you'll be able to return.

Leave quietly, and rest secure in the knowledge that you're a better person than her.

NO NO NO NO NO! Not unless you plan on moving countries and starting a new life. Just let it be.
a) If you use the job as a reference. You'll be sooo screwed.
b) If you plan on staying in the same field, as big as the world may seem.. believe me, names get around.
c) Names just get around in life.
d) Don't make people hate you more than you need to for all the reasons listed above.

Never, ever burn your bridges. Just leave and say nothing.

No! Not Open Learning!
Sorry, *cough*, I'm sure your experience of it will be entirely different from mine.

I did the smart thing, i sent veiled insults at her on my last day. I thanked her for her pep talks and giving me the will and drive to look for another posotion, a better position. I told her that if it hadn't have been for her i'd have been content to be an AA with VS untill i retired. Then i told her we should do lunch some day, knowing neither one of us wants to see the other ever again. In short i win.
Also IB Open Learning isn't that bad here. It was through there i gained all my RSA/OCR's and put me in the position to be an Administrator, in fact the place i'm gonna work is the very place i do night classes and the major perk is i now get my classes free.

Yes, that is a major perk. If I didn't have a PhD to go to I'd be doing an MScIT for free next year...
