Most of you people won't probably notice it, but for four days I plan to be away. I won't get to work on my fic, I won't post, nada. I'll be going on a retreat, a Christian retreat thinggy where they'll discuss the Second Coming and all that. I'll also get together with friends and we'll have some fun times and I might show them my fic. Well, that's it. I'll be back.

Just out of curiosity, is it a Kairos retreat?

WTF is a Kairos? It's a born-again retreat thing, not some weirdo Egyptian crap.

Not defending him, but what IS kairos? i'm lost. google didn't help.

It's a Greek word meaning "God's time." The only reason I asked is because he mentioned the 4-day timeframe. In high school, I, along with 8 other guys from the Junior class, was selected for a Kairos retreat (presumably because my teachers thought I was a good Christian ... ooh, the irony), which lasted 4 days. It was a nice little experience though, despite the fact that by that time I was an atheist.

Anyway, I arrived back home yesterday afternoon, took a bath and fell asleep for nearly twenty four hours. And I'd like to say that I feel great and I feel faithful to the Lord! I think I've just condemned myself to death! But fret not, friends, for I'm not a fundie and I never really swallowed all of the End of the World stuff the pastor was talking about.
