I can't believe Tasering any kid is acceptable, letalone a cuffed girl.

It looks real bad and almost certainly is, I'm surprised no one is questioning simply the fact that she was handcuffed. But for all we know she was HIV positive and trying to bite him at the time.

Perhaps, I'd like more details. Unless she had a weapon or a contagion like rabies, I don't see the need. Brats can be dealt with without the need for a stungun.

I disagree. I worked for 2 years as "Charlie Chipmunk" at a local kids adventure playcentre. (Essentially I dressed up in a huge chipmunk suit) Everyday I would get the shit beaten out of me by mobs of 50+ kids. Never once did I want to take a tazer to them. They are only kids after all.

Maybe there's something drastic we don't know, but for now I see it like this:

9-YEAR OLD girl.
Handcuffed.
Taser? What the Fuck?

Maybe the officer got bored and hadn't used his taser in a while. Or maybe he somehow set it off accidentally.

Taser is a weapon utilizing electrical shock to incapacitate or knock unconsious dangerous opponents. Or non dangerous ones.

I was under the impression that HIV/AIDs cannot be transmitted in that fashion.

I dunno, I've seen kids with mental problems going apeshit.. Using a taser toput them down before they seriously hurt themselves would make sense in such a situation.. I'll await more information before I pass judgement, I'm certainly not going to automatically condemn the cop just because of the girl's age

Mucous found inside the mouth does not contain HIV however if the gums are bleeding the blood could pass on HIV.

The thing is, as a leader, if something happens to any of them, I am responisble. It's my ass in the fire. We have one little shit that every day will run out of the building to go to the local shop. He's been told not to do it so many times yet still does. He has to cross a busy road. If he gets hit by a car its me that gets into shit. The thing is that at other times he can be a productive member, so expelling him isn't too viable.

A tazer would be most useful to fry his fat ass as he trys to run out.

It gets even better they were at a school for "special needs children", that's where this shit happened, they were called to deal with a runaway from the school.

So what? A special ed kid that was only ten or so broke a teachers arm when I was going to school. They can be just as violent if not more so than other kids and often don't have the behaviour skills they need. Even the fact that she was handcuffed doesn't necessarily preclude the preclude the possibility that it was justified. Her legs and teeth are still free and a kid can really hurt some one that way, especially one that's mentally handicapped and doesn't know any better.

I'm not saying it was justified, but most cops don't taser people for the hell of it.

It generally can't be, but there have been cases of kissing leading to HIV transmissions (both people had bleeding gums), and if you're bitten by someone who has a cut in their mouth you certainly can be infected. But as has been said, would you want to take the risk.

The fact that it's a "special needs child" aka retard makes some form of extremely violent behavior sound very likely.
