I just got Godzilla: DAMM yesterday, and it rocks! Okay, I'm done spamming now.

Urk...it's only for NGC and I've got PS2.

I'm getting it for my birthday, which is just three days...three excrutiatingly long, boring, horrible days...away.

In a side note, I hate you.

I hoping it will come out for some of the other platforms. I can't quite justify buying a game cube just for that game, although it is tempting.

I hear that. I love Godzy.

Here's a thought: Buy a GC because 1) they're the cheapest system you can get that's worth getting, 2) Metroid Prime, 3) Zelda, 4) Mario

I'll have to look into it because of the Godzilla game. Part of the reason I'm not real pumped about the game cube is that I've never liked all their "cartoon" character type games like Mario.

I can see that. My argument was this: Most of the games that I want for the XBox (HALO) are coming out for the PC. No problem, I have a giant PC. Most of the games I want for the PS/2 are also on the PC (Halflife, No One Lives Forever, etc.). But wait...the PS/2 has Square games and some others...okay...PS/2 is on the shelf to buy in five years when you can scoop them up used and the games cost 15 bucks or less. And finally, we have the NGC. There is zero chance of the games I want for that being on the PC (Metroid, Perfect Dark2, etc.) so since the thing was cheap, I snagged one up realizing that it was the only way I'd get to play the traditionally trademarked 'Nintendo' games.

But frankly, I'd rather play SOLDAT.

I can't wait to get that game, it doesn't come out in Britain for 2 weeks though. Gamecube is a fantastic console, I bought an X-Box when they came out and so far there have been 2 games that interest me, I bought a Gamecube 4 weeks ago and I've bought 4 really good games already, and Godzilla: DAMM is coming out in 2 weeks then Clone Wars a week later, I must say I'm suitably impressed with the GC.

Oh yes. MUST get Clone Wars.

You forgot Sonic. They have exclusive rights for the Sonic games now. I LOVE SONIC!

Of course, I have a Cube and a PS2 (and my Saturn is still hooked up). I'm a console freak, but I refuse to give Gates any more money.

There's no point, really. I'm sure Microsoft isn't dumb enough to not bring out some games for the PC. And invariably, the logic is this: If you can get a game on both the PC and console, get the game on the PC.
