I'm finding it hard to browse the forum tonight, because I have to press Tab a few hundred times to go to links... because my mouse just gave up the ghost
my cursor is sitting happily in the middle of the screen, nomatter what I do to the mouse. It's very frustrating
I think I'll go to bed and buy a new one in the morning.

Sorry to hear that.
Shift + Tab makes it go backwards, in case you didn't know.

My condolences on the death of your ...HID of choice (and doesn't this belong in G&C anyway?), but you may want to try un/replugging it (and, if its cordless, removing/replacing batteries & reinitiating the connection) before throwing it away (especially if it was an expensive one). 'dem rodents are tricky that way.

Thought you meant mouse as in "squeak-squeak" not "click-click".

How would the death of a pet have any effect on the way he can browse the forums?
No, scratch that. He's one of us. I don't wanna know...

A mouse in a wheel could be powering his computer.

...which would be dead, period, if the mouse is.
Still jenat-lai claims he 'could' browse, it was just damn tedious.
*ponders*
Maybe jenat is barely literate and the poor rodent had to handle the keyboard?...

I can see tech support now:
Caller: "My manual says to move the mouse to move the cursor, its not working"
Tech: "Hmm have you tried clicking it?"
C: "Yup, nothing"
T: "Hmm have you checked the ball, maybe the ball is stuck"
C: "And btw he has two of those and when I touch them he just bites me and runs back to the cage."
T: "!!"
(I thought the title refered to the furry kind as well)
