Disputes and grievances with Mods/Supermods

If you have a disagreement with the actions of one of the moderator staff instead of confronting the mod in question and arguing with them you should raise the issue civily with another full mod or supermod or Mike himself. If the moderator in question was out of line or an issue raised that needs to be publicly debated it will be handled in a fair manner by the rest of the staff. These issues will be dealt with fairly and honestly.

So to sum it up:
  • 1) Don't start an arguement

    2) Keep calm about the matter

    3) Bring it to the attention of one of the other staff

    4) Be patient

I would have thought a civil PM discussion with the mod in question would be the first step. :?

Yes, except that's as likely as not to produce a big nasty fight via PMs. The idea here is to deal with it impartially, as openly as possible, and in a manner that will calm people down.
