Piece of music

Post by PrinceofLowLight »

A thing I hate about classical music in opera: You pretty much never know what it's called until you see it specifically performed or have been listening to the radio for a while.

There's this one really famous, common piece that I'm desperately trying to find lyrics to, but I have no idea what it's called. The only thing I can think of specifically that it was from is in The Punisher when he's fighting The Russian. Help?

IMDb is your friend.

My guess might be Nocturne by Frédéric Chopin, but I might be wrong.

I'm quite sure it's "La Donna e Mobile" from opera "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi. The song was sung in Italian and somehow Frédéric Chopin doesn't sound like an Italian name.

edit: after going through my dad's opera LPs, I've confirmed that I am indeed correct.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P
